You’re Welcome Here.
Capital City Grace Church
We rent the Design Refinery’s event space for our worship service.
Address: 11 N. Westmoor. Ave, Columbus OH 43204
What should you expect? When you visit you’ll discover that we like to laugh in a relaxed atmosphere, as well as worship God and connect with others.
We do not point out, nor make first time guests stand. It’s our goal that you would feel welcome and comfortable.
We sing a few songs in an acoustic style worship with guitar and acoustic drums. The lyrics are projected on a screen. If you don’t know the song and don’t sing that’s okay. We sing, because it is one of the ways to worship God.
There will then be announcements – typically announcing an upcoming event or service project and how you can be a part of it.
Also at this time we pass the offering basket. This is a way to worship and to give to helping the needs of the church. Do not feel obligated to give.
Pastor Eric Miller then gives a relevant message from God’s Word for about 30 minutes and opens it up for discussion towards the end.
Why discussion? Because when we verbally share the truth and our questions about faith it helps all of us process it. Not that Pastor Eric is the answer man, but your questions on faith and your doubts are welcome. We bring our questions to God’s Word and want to process them together. The church is about community growing in the truth of Jesus, not about a show up front on a stage.
The discussion is open to anyone who wants to voluntarily share and/or ask questions. Many people listen, and many share. You are welcome to listen if you don’t have anything to share.
The service typically last about 1 hour and 15 minutes concluding around 11:15am.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Children are welcome to be in the service with the adults, because our children’s ministry is on pause for the moment due to Covid. We plan to start up our children’s ministry again in the near future.
