SUMMER SUPPLY DRIVE FOR HOPE RESOURCE CENTER Resou SUMMER SUPPLY DRIVE FOR HOPE RESOURCE CENTER Resource Center and Garret Recovery House HOPE Resource Center’s (located at 2596 Sullivant Ave.) mission is to provide compassionate care to those in active addiction and to provide them with the resources they need to enrich and transform their lives. Their pledge is to serve with love and compassion to anyone in need. They strive to be available to all of those in need of our services. The HOPE Resource Center and Garret Recovery are collecting summer supplies for dispersal to community members. Their wish list includes: Women's/men's underwear (new) Women's leggings (new) Women's/men's shorts (new or gently used) Women's/men's shoes, sandals, and flipflops (new or gently used) Travel-size toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, toothpaste, shaving lotion/razors/etc Women's jeans (Size 0-10) Men's jeans (Size 32-38) Men's T-shirts (new or gently used) Grocery store plastic bags Coffee creamer Bottled water Paper towels Toilet Paper HOW TO DONATE: Bring your items to our worship service this Sunday, 10am @design_refinery . The final Sunday to donate items is this Sunday, July 18. Thank you!
Tomorrow we kick off a new message series that wil Tomorrow we kick off a new message series that will carry us through most of the summer. We'll be looking at the parables of Jesus. We'll look at a different parable each week. . A parable is a story Jesus would share in his teachings. The story is an allegory communicating a truth about living in God's kingdom. . Through this series we're going to see what it looks like to walk with God in His kingdom. . Jesus addresses tough topics in His parables, such as: 👑Why Jesus spoke in parables 👑Experiencing doubt 👑Worry and anxiety 👑Not using your abilities for God. 👑Experiencing joy 👑What eternity is like 👑And many more . We'll be tackling most these topics with a different one each Sunday throughout the summer. . You’re invited Sundays, 10am at the Design Refinery.
